Heritage
Before we talk about Sukkur To Go we need to go back nearly 30 years. Our origin is in event catering from onwards of 20 people to over 6000 people. We started catering without a dedicated kitchen or even pots and pans. It all started with a passion to cook proper indian food using only quality ingredients and meats. This was a time, when our chefs went from house to house and one end of the country to the other end like London, Birmingham, Manchester visiting new locations and experiencing new cultures. Chefs were expected to cook for occasions such as weddings from the family home, garage or even the cellar.
From the struggle of travelling house to house Sukkur Cuisine was formed with a combined experience of over 50 years of cooking. This is when we innovated the way event catering happened. We no longer travelled, all our indian food from bombay or hyderabadi biryani, naan gosht, daal chawal or daal gosht was cooked in the cleanest of kitchens focusing on quality and taste.
Whilst cooking authentic indian dishes like our famous Sukkur Biryani, Baruchi Daal Chawal and Gajar Halwa, our customers repeatedly asked why we don’t cook for smaller orders? The truth is we didn’t have the time nor the infrastructure to be able to truly satisfy our customers taste buds. Fast forward to May 2020 in the aftermath of COVID-19, the hospitality and catering landscape has changed and we were the first to revolutionise event catering and up the standards of what a customer should expect. And we aim to do the same for indian food delivered to your door in the UK.

Sukkur To Go is part of Sukkur Cuisine and is based in England, West Yorkshire in a small town called Dewsbury. What makes us at Sukkur To Go different is we deliver indian food nationwide throughout the UK. We aim to bring you great indian taste right to your door and we are starting with our signature dish. Buy a pot of uncooked biryani and get it delivered to your door (pot is included). This is our innovative idea, we are pushing boundaries of what is possible with our delicious indian food dishes.

We want to take away the pain of you traveling all the way to Dewsbury (or an event where we are cooking) just to get a taste of our famous “Sukkur Biryani” or as they say in gujrati “deg nu kawanu” which means “tasty food straight from the pot”.

It’s indian takeaway with a twist. If we had to summarize our idea in a simple sentence it’s this: buy a pot of uncooked biryani online, biryani pot included. And get it delivered to your door.
Let us explain, we will use our indian hyderabadi biryani also known as “sukkur ni biryani” (gujrati) in this example.
